HISTORICAL NOTES
Around 2004 the Mischief Makers Car Club was formed with a close group of friends to help organize the event. Great guys that really stepped up at the time. Currently defunct but not forgotten
We also thank the Swiss Pub for all they did for many years in downtown Tacoma. Unfortunately, the Swiss is closed down RIP
2021-22 HOTROD-A-RAMA NORTHWWEST: Brought back from the dead in epic form. With sensational host Rodney Bullington of Oregon Grain Growers distillery in Pendleton, Oregon the event rose from the grave. It was a smashing success for the Northwest hotrod community. We thank all those sponsors and participants that made it great!!!! Thank you, Rodney, for your continued support.
THE SPARK!
HOTROD-A-RAMA was conceived through many conversations between father and son during our many trips to car shows and swap meet adventures. We both longed for a traditional hotrod show that offered a venue to people that shared our old school interests in traditional hotrods and fabulous customs of yesteryear. We figured that it might be a long hard road to get a large contingent of period correct cars all in one place for a show. Boy, were we ever wrong. HOTROD-A-RAMA grew in leaps and bounds starting in 2002 and ending in 2010 pulling in hundreds of hotrods and customs and scores of appreciative spectators. We are happy to resurrect the magic that was born out of pure passion between father and son and a true love for the hobby we call hot rodding!
